How do I do the Book of Knowledge digitally with my child?

To learn how to do the Book of Knowledge with your child online, follow the step-by-step instructions below: 

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. To start, your child will need to log into their account on ReadWorks. Learn how they can log into their accounts on ReadWorks by following steps 7-9 here.
2. Once logged in, they should click on the Article-A-Day assignment under "Assignments To Do". If you haven't created an assignment yet, you can learn how to assign Article-A-Day to your child here.
   
3. The directions and purpose for Article-A-Day will be shown at the top of the next page. After reading the directions and purpose, your child should select the next article they want to read.
   
4. Once your child finishes reading the article, they should click on the "Book of Knowledge" tab.
   
5. In the Book of Knowledge, they should type in 2 or 3 things that they learned from the article.
6. When your child is done typing, click "Submit".
7. Click "Submit" in the pop-up window to confirm and finish!
